Linkpoint apparently "double charges" because it won't capture funds for the authorization

I am frustrated to no end with this. :smhair:
I have talked at length to Linkpoint and FirstData and they both told me that it has something to do with the site.
Out site is set to Authorize on checkout, then we want to "Capture/Settle" but the button does not work on our site. Only the "Charge" button works, so that is the one we use.
Because of this, we get calls every day from customers asking why we charged them twice, when in fact we Authorized them once, then charged them.
Any ideas about this?

Never got this fixed but I just saved a bundle by switching to Authorize.net and their plugin seems to work fine with BV. :-D

Many of us use Authorize.net with success. They actually answer the phone and answer questions. . |

This was out Authorize.net account manager who set it up for us. it was a piece of cake.
