BV Commerce version 5.5 is scheduled for March 1st release right now. It will be a rollup of hot fixes and bug patches for 5.4. Going forward the plan is to release a service pack/feature enhancement pack at least once a quarter.

Please report any and all issues that you think need to be addressed in the 5.5 service pack as soon as possible in this thread. After February 7th, any new issues reported will have to wait until version 5.6.

After February 7th, I will post a list of all issues that will be addressed in the 5.5 service pack.

I have been running into issue with using the product batch edit for stores with 2000+ SKU's. When I try to update all of the product templates to BVC 2004 Layout, the pages times out every time and I get an error of maximum request length exceeded when attempting to save my changes after previewing.

Maximum request length exceeded.

Hi Marcus

The Forgot password sends back an encrypted password, if the passwords are set to encrypted vs open text.

TIA

Free shipping promo leaves 'extra ship fee' and any other shipping extra shipping adjustments from chosen modifiers visible on the checkout page.

The shipping is reduced to zero correctly, but it looks confusing to see this on the screen.

I'm having problems with the Froogle Feed plug in. It seems like any product that has product variations generates a false URL for the Froogle Feed. So when people in Google base click on the product, it returns the obvious 404 error.

Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

Thanks.

3D-Secure for Worldpay Invisible

MasterCard require that Maestro card payments are accompanied by the use of its Secure Code password protection scheme to ensure the identity of the cardholder and hence reduce fraud, from 1st April 2009 - the deadline from MasterCard.

Worldpay have changed their Invisible method to "XML Direct" to allow for this, details here: www.worldpay.com/support/invisible

Any chance of including this as Maestro cards are heavily used in the UK?

Enhancement request: Update category template pages to use Anthem for add to cart instead of postback, when the order option 'Redirect To Shopping Cart After Item Is Added' is not selected.

Hi Marcus,

Discoverit.co.uk don't make a 3D Secure plugin for Worldpay sadly, just for Protx. This means that come April 1st, UK users won't be able to process Maestro cards. Worldpay have confirmed that these orders will be declined if a site is still using the existing integration. You can find out more here:
