Hello, I'm setting up my BVC store and somehow, taxes are not being calculated for item sales inside the state (TX) and on shipping, handling and other charges that make up the sale. I've checked that my store information is in Texas. The products ship from "the store". The instruction manual ( http://www.bvsoftware.com/bvcommerce5manual/) is a bit vague on the taxes settings. ANY help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Create a new tax:
Country: US
State: TX
Rate: Your Texas Tax Rate
Tax Class: Make sure the class for the Tax and the item match otherwise tax won't be calculated.
Charge Tax on Shipping: Yes
Make sure your item is set not set to "non-shipping-item"
Go to the checkout process and fill in a texas address. Tax should be applied at that point.
