We have a customer who is using LinkPoint for their payment processing. I have logged into their account and created the PEM key, stored it in a secure directory of their site and pointed the API options to the file. My question is about the Live URL and Merchant ID that I need to input. When logging into the LinkPoint (now FirstData) site I have two IDs - a store ID and user ID. Which should I be using? Also, where do I obtain the Live URL needed?

I'm working on the same thing now. I'll let you know if I figure it out. I don't know why my customer had to use this stuff instead of using Authorize.net like everyone else. |

I can't get it going either. Between BV being too vague with what it needs and Linkpoint.... |

Well I'm glad to see I'm not the only one having this problem.
Anyone using FirstData (Linkpoint API) that can shed some light on this?

Okay - we figured it out for those who are interested. We happen to be using the iBiz payment integrator for another project and looked at their documentation for the information we need.
The Merchant Login is the STORE ID and the PEM path requires the full mapped path to the location of the file on your server, it is not relative to the website directory. So your path could we something like "D:/inetpub/www.website.com/directory/123456.pem"
Once we got those two settings correct we're getting transactions processing normally. Finally!
IMO there should be a little bit better documentation on the pathing for the PEM key, as it's really unclear the way it is now.
