I went to your site, added a product to my cart, hit the checkout button and went to a secure checkout page on the direct-secure-checkout.net site. Everything seemed to work correctly for me. Maybe I'm not understanding your problem... |

Did you get the security lock (ssl)?

Yes. Everything worked as it should. Perhaps you're experiencing a DNS problem. That might explain why it works for me and not you. |

Hi, I dont think you made it to the checkout page. That is where the lock comes up.

The checkout page is fine. I just tried to place a test order and when I did that I was redirected to a page that doesn't exist: https://direct-secure-ch...20Checkout/checkout.aspxThis probably happened due to an application error, not SSL since the checkout page already loaded successfully over SSL. You should check your Event Log. |

Hi, we made some changes from Marcus and have it working well enough to test it seems. Here is the last question we sent in:
Hi Marcus,
We have it working to give us the lock on checkout and login pages. But it randomly sends us to the home page. I tested on 7 systems so far and 4 work smooth and 3 don't. after it puts you to home it shows no items in cart and you can then add and checkout normal. Must be a setting we are missing. Note: Nop Code in web.config from email on this working scenario.
We did not put a cookie path in. Do we need that too?
Any help is appreciated. we hope to have this fixed to take orders this weekend.
Thanks,
Mark

Mark,
If you are going to the home page randomly that means that you dont have a proper error page setup in case of an error and you are being redirected to the home page. When ever that happens, go to the BV Admin site and look up the error log. You will know what failed. Also, for the time being switch of customerrors. You can do that by locating the customErrors tab in web.config file. Change it so that it look as follows:
<customErrors mode="Off" />
After you do this, you will get error messages on the page and will not be redirected anywhere. When you decide to go live, switch the customErrors node to the original state. |
