Control could not be found error after compiling

I compiled my BVC5 store using Visual Studio 2008 Pro to my web host and successfully deployed with connection to my sql 2005 database. Now when I log into the admin area all controls are showing up with an error "Control (name) could not be found". I noticed that both my BVadmin/controls and BVmodules/controls folders are empty. Any thoughts?
On a side note, I have never gotten the flash image rotator to work and I am using a gif image with Flash v10 player installed.
Any help is much appreciated.

Ack after all the searching I see Marcus post about the ASP.NET compliation issues AFTER I post. I'll try that first and repost.

I tried adding "batch="false" in the compilation in web.config but still get the same issue.
