Is there any way to setup a customer choice or modifier that allows multiple selections plus input? For example a check box that allows qty input....I though I remember BVC2004 having this.

Right now a radio button modifier provides a list from which you can select only 1 option. I though there used to be a checkbox option where you could select multiple things and enter a qty beside it.

Thanks,

Derek

Are you thinking of the Bulk Order category template? This would be per-product rather than choices of a given product. BVC 2004 did have a checkbox accessory choice, but that only allowed you to add another catalog item to an order (with a quantity of 1) when you hit "add to cart".

Hallo,
Looks like you are talking about some kind of composite product choices. Unfortunatly they are not supported.
The only walkaround comes to mind is to add radio button choice and then add input choice below saying for example qty choice 1. Then place choice 2 and input 2 below.
But if you want it being like you said then it requires store customization. Once I have already developed custom choices thus if you are intrested please contact me on support at software-development-innovations.com

Yes. I do something like this for inches in picture frame orders. Each inch vertical and each inch horizontal has a value.

Perhaps not the best way to do this, but until you get set up with another method, to make an order for 2 blue shirts and 3 red shirts:

Basic product value is 0.00

Blue modifier:
1 blue - $10.00
2 blue - $20.00
3 blue - $30.00

Red modifier:
1 red - $10.00
2 red - $20.00
3 red - $30.00

In the cart:

Shirt
2 blue - $20.00
3 red - $30.00

Total $50.00

This assumes you're not going to get too fiddly with shipping costs. Modifiers allow $ adjustments per selection, but not size, so an order for 80 shirts shipping in 8 separate boxes might cause math problems.

Thanks All....much appreciated!

Please see attached image. I have radio button modifier to allow an individual to select what seminar they are attending but was hoping to allow multiple selections with qty's. So if the person is registering 10 people they could choose button A for 3 people, button C for 3 people and button F for 2 people. The work around that I have implemented is to just use a text box for them to fill in if they are registering multiple registrants.

Thanks,

d.

Can you made each workshop lab a separate product? Looks like your trying to stuff too much onto one page.

Try creating a Kit. You can add each block as a checkbox selection.
