Running 5.5
I have an upsell item (item "b") attached to item "a". When I click to add item "a" to my cart I am directed to the itermediate page where I am given the option to add the upsell item to my order or say "no thanks".....this is fine
The problem is, if I choose to add the upsell item to my order the cart reflects the upsell item but not the item I was originally trying to buy (item "a"). Conversely, if I choose "no thanks" then the item "a" is added to my order properly.
Anyone experienced this?

That's as designed. The Upsell item replaces the original item.
Upsells replace the ordered item: "Baseball, SKU 001" is replaced by "Baseball and Bat, SKU 001002".
Cross Sells add to the order: "Baseball, SKU 001" plus "Bat, SKU 002". |
