BV 5.5 Analytics plugin not working for Ecommerce

I recently upgraded to 5.5 and ever sice then, I am getting no ecommerce tracking in my analytics. I just removed the google analytics code from all my master pages (guessing that I don't need this now that I have the built in feature) in the hopes that this will fix it.
Has anyone dealt with this yet?
Also, why does it ask for
Google Store Name: Google Category Name:
I have never heard of this and do not know where to find this info.
Any help would be great!

I've also seen this -- the only info that is not being tracked is the revenue -- the number of goals (Sales) is being tracked. I have someone looking into it, but my guess is that there may have been a change in code where something like [Order.GrandTotal] is no longer valid or has been changed and GA doesn't recognize the code any longer. |

Same here. Looks like a bug.

I added the google analytics in to my header via code. I noticed it was not working in the admin (My guess is a bug)
BVModules / Themes / BVC5 / Footer.ascs
<script type="text/javascript"> var gaJsHost = (("https:" == document.location.protocol) ? "https://ssl." : "http://www."); document.write(unescape("%3Cscript src='" + gaJsHost + "google-analytics.com/ga.js' type='text/javascript'%3E%3C/script%3E")); </script> <script type="text/javascript"> try { var pageTracker = _gat._getTracker("Your Google Tracking Number"); pageTracker._trackPageview(); } catch(err) {}</script>

yeah, I used to have the code built into some of the master pages, but now that it is an option feature of 5.5, I have removed it. Unfortunately for me, it does NOT work. Hopefully 5.6 will fix this. :)

Mech Innovations has code set up for my site for a whole range of tracking sites (Google, Yahoo, Bizrate, etc.) that they installed. Their code has been updated and is working perfectly for me know with BV5.5 |

I am so frustrated with this. I deleted all the code in my master pages thinking that this new Option would WORK as it is supposed to. Hopefully someone can give me an idea of what is wrong with this. If it is a bug, do you think the 5.6 update will fix it? Or, shoudl I just give up and turn it off and re-add the analytics code to all the master pages?

I suggest hardcoding the scripts to your master pages. |
