Minimum Order Subtotal by Manufacturer Minimum

I have a manufacturer that has a $100 order minimum (List)
Customer places an order for material using BVC5 (I would like to drop ship the item to the customer)
Item 1 (Manufacturer ABC) $10.00 List
Item 2 (Manufacturer ABC) $20.00 List
Item 3 (Manufacturer ABC) $50.00 List
Total (Manufacturer ABC) $80
+ Shipping and Handling
Is there a way to charge the customer a $20 surcharge fee for (Manufacturer ABC) before checkout so they can reach the manufacturer minimum?
Manufacturer Minimum $100
If there a way to charge the remaining $20 to the order? Order minimum fee?

It would be ideal to have some sort of Order Rules Engine... thoughts, ideas?

Out-of-the-box I don't think this is possible. One possibility might be to create a custom Offer that's similar to the Products offer. The difference being that instead of discounting a certain amount it would add a surcharge. |
