Isn't that pretty much like the customer created an account? The purpose of the anonymous checkout, at least in my view, is that it's one and done. I may shop there again sometime, but who knows. If a user called me up and asked for their order history, I'd tell them to start an account. That's the whole point of an account right? (among other things) |

Well yeah I see your point. Most though do not mind entering the email but do not want to bother with an account. So we send back a list of order numbers to the email address if they forgot and then they can view the order on the site. |
