So we are using offers to allow for free shipping over $75 on each order. We also set up coupon codes to allow customers to save 15%, etc on various orders. However, what we see happening is that in order to get a coupon code to work with the free shipping offer, we have to make sure the 'Promotion may NOT be combined with other promotional codes' box remains unchecked.

So far so good. However, since this is the case, customers are allowed to enter two different coupon codes and double their discount. Is there any way to offer free shipping and only allow one coupon code to be used?

Thanks!

Greg

I would also really like to know how to deal with this scenario as well.

jg -

I was never able to get this working properly and ended up purchasing Andy Miller's Rate Rule Provider (www.structured-solutions.net). Works great now.

There is a workflow task that determines whether all offers or just the best offer are applied. You need to select the workflow task for "stacked offers" to apply multiple offers to an order at the same time and the "Best Offer" workflow task to limit offers to the best one.

Stacked offers should be the default.

Thanks for the reply Marcus. I just modified the "Calculate Order" workflow by adding the "Apply Offers - Greatest Discount" task immediately following the "Apply Offers - Stacked Discounts" task. Is that correct? (See attachment)

Nope. Just pick one or the other. Not both.

This doesn't seem to solve the problem.

We want to offer free shipping on all orders that total more than $100 after all other offers have been calculated.

I tried setting the Priority value to 100 (the highest priority value of all our offers) in the hopes that it would be applied after all the other offers had been applied, but that didn't seem to work either.

Any additional help would be appreciated.

jg, you ever figure this out. I am having the same issue on BV 5.4.5 site. Right now we are using the Stacked Offers. All totals are fine on the checkout page but when you click place order the %off discount is gone when the free UPS Ground is selected. Also tried the Best Discount in place of Stacked Offers and the results were the same.
