I use the McAfee scan on demand to test my sites for PCI compliance etc because it is included as a benefit with my host.
What I am wondering is if anyone uses the McAfee Secure/HackerSafe daily testing (to get their logo) and is it worth the expensive price tag?

Not sure what they are charging now -- when I first signed up with them, I paid like $1200 for the year -- I wasn't going to renew, but then they were bought out and I got in a special deal where the cost is now $200/year -- at that price I find it worth it for a couple of reasons: 1) through customer survesy I did, it makes a difference to many customers, and 2) you get the extra McAfee Secure logo on your Google Search terms. |

I really appreciate your response! The quote was fairly hefty....$1400 for the year and that is for my site that has little activity (under 2,000 page views per day) They did do a second offer of $1800 for 3 years....
How the heck did they go from $1200 down to $200 for you!
It that their game...try and get as much as you can and then keep coming down in proce?
