I've had a customer tell me he got the .../nopermissions.aspx page when trying to access the site today, after upgrading to 5.7.1 he said it gave him that page twice, both from links, one he saved and one from Google. Is it possible with the added security that there are pages that have been bookmarked that are now giving customers a problem accessing directl BEFORE logging in (that would give them the nopermissions.aspx page)?? |

Joe,
You'll want to upgrade to 5.7.3 on Tuesday to resolve this issue.

If anyone runs into this issue -- and you should test for it by trying to log in using an existing customer account -- Scott Mech found a tempoary fix for this problem. Apparently every customer who comes to the site is checked against the new admin login, and since they are not "admins" they don't have permission to view pages and are essentially locked out. I think Marcus has a fix coming out for this, but for the time being we removed the admin toolbar from the top of the pages on the site. |
