How do you get support for this product? Have been trying to contact bv for support for a few months to no avail. Any suggestions?

Direct support isn't really available as I can tell (at least over the past couple of years). You're better off posting your questions here and waiting for other users to come along and provide support/feedback/etc.

I have posted my issues here on the forum and do appreciate the support I have received here on this forum but, I am currently working on 3 bv sites and have the potential to work on several more (10 orders right now). I need to decide if I want to stay with this shopping cart or look into another. I am sure there is another shopping cart as robust as bv, but has better/more support options.
One of my posts was about the private store offered that is "out of the box". I really didn't get the answers I needed about this and feel that a 5 minute conversation with Marcus or bv support would have been enough to move on and make a programming decision.
I received several emails 6 - 8 months ago marketing a support package for bv from Marcus. I did not purchase it at the time because I had just purchased 3 licenses within the past 8 months and did not have the $ to spend. Does anyone know what this support package would have provided me and if it is still available.

Cush, For a private store, login to the admin and go to the Options tab. Then click "Users" in the left-column nav. The first option is for a private store.
The maintenance plan is essentially what Microsoft and others call 'software assurance'. Meaning, it ensures that you continue to receive all updates to the software, including major version releases (i.e. BV 6, 7, etc). If you do not purchase the maintenance plan with your license, you will only receive updates for the first year. |
