Hello All
I'm migrating my BVC2004 Database to BV5. After migration I transfered my products image folder to the BV5 images folder. When I went to view the site I noticed all of the images were not appearing. After disabling Auto Url Rewriting for Products under performance I was able to see the images. I assume I will have to rename the "products" folder I have under images to allow the rewrite to work properly the only problem with that is I have 600+ images. Is there a easy way to do this. thanks for the help.

Tom,
So if I'm understanding you correctly, on your BV 2004 site you have your product images stored in /images/products/. When you copy this folder to your new BV site (using the same location), you can't see any of the images unless you disable auto-rewriting for products. Is that correct? If so, it sounds like your server must be configured to have ASP.NET handle image requests (most likely your server is using wildcard mapping). Disabling this should fix your problem. That said, you probably should check with your hosting company and/or developer to see why your server was setup this way; there may have been a reason. |

Thanks for the reply. Yes thats correct. I have a virtual server that I have setup just for this site I will try disabling wildcard mapping and give it a go.
