PayPal express refunds in admin area of shopping cart

Hi all, is this feature working for everything using BV 5.74 or near to that version? I keep getting errors whenever trying to process refunds...payments are accepted though.
The error message that I get from the shopping cart is just "Internal Error". The audit log provides 2 transaction ids. I've contacted BV and they said to contact PayPal, so have contacted PayPal as well...
But just wondering if anyone else has had the same issue and if so did you come up with any sort of resolution for it? |

I contacted BV and they said to contact PayPal. PayPal's support engineer that I contacted said that BV uses PayPal's "2.2" API version. He said that BV should upgrade to the PayPal version "60" API (yes version 60!). In BV 5.74 at least they're using PayPal's 2.2 API. Hard to believe that PayPal has had that many released versions of their public API for the little time that they've existed!
I'm surprised that the PayPal support engineer requested this as a resolution, I kind of felt like it was passing the buck. It's effectively like admitting that the PayPal API releases are not all backwards compatible with one another which seems a bit ridiculous.
BV support is working on an update for this one...cool |
