Just a quick question for those running 5.x what memory foot print are you seeing on your stores worker processes?

Typically in the 120-180 MB range. |

Thanks Aaron that is most helpfuly, without going into to much detail what sort of traffic rates are they seeing?
0 - 100 hits per day 100 - 1,000 hits per day 1,000 - 5,000 hits per day 5,000 - 10,000 hits per day 10,000 - 15,000 hits per day 15,000 - 20,000 hits per day 20,000 +

I don't know about hits but I can tell you about real daily visitors (excluding bots). Even on startup sites that may only see 100-200 visitors, the site will still typically consume 100-120 MB. That just seems to be par for the course. On higher traffic sites 3,000+ visitors I've seen it use over 200 MB. The memory usage will vary over time, though, so keep that in mind. |
