Url rewriting breaks when I install a url rewrite solution for separate wordpress site

Hey all... I have several clients running bvc stores on a server. In an attempt to get url rewriting working for a wordpress site, I followed/installed the following: http://www.kylecaulfield.com/permalink-for-wordpress-iis-6-mod_rewrite-fixed-freehttp://www.helicontech.com/download-isapi_rewrite3.htm As soon as I did, bvc rewrites became 404 errors, on all sites. I am not a url rewriting expert, so I'm a little confused as to why this would affect the server globally since the bvc sites use their own rewriting modules. When I uninstalled this everything was working fine again. Any thoughts? Thanks, Sam

They are most likely incompatible. It would be very hard to have two URL rewriters working on the same web site at the same time.

That's the thing, they aren't on the same web site. Diff web sites in IIS, also, I had to manually set up the filter on the wordpress web site. That's why I don't understand just having it installed and not associated would kill the other url rewriter.

If the sites are using the same application pool one handler may be impacting the other.
