Is it possible to add a black space between Categories on the Category Menu? If so how would i go about doing it? You can't create a blank category.

Thanks

You can controls the location/spacing of almost anything from CSS (your theme's style sheet). Read up on CSS or checkout bvsoftware.com/partners to find a designer who can help out.

I understand that. I have some special categories that i just wanted to put a space between them and the standard categories. I don't want to space them all out, just a single line size space that would just separate them a bit.

Example:

Category 1

Category 2
Category 3

Category 4
Category 5
Category 6

Is that possible?

Use the Develisys Menu, part of our free toolkit (http://forums.bvcommerce.com/de...lt.aspx?f=91&m=64862). One of the many options this menu supports is adding a unique class name to each link, allowing you to conditionally style each link.

Aaron:

I planned on looking at your menu, I'm just not ready to tackle that right now. Trying to finish the little things so we can get it up and live.

So I'm guessing there is not a way out of the box do do what I'm asking?

Beyond writing some jQuery code to tackle this, you might be able to create a dummy category, probably a Custom Link category with "#" as the URL, and name the category something like this: <span style="margin: 0 10px 0 10px"></span>. It's certainly not the ideal approach, but it might work.
