USPS Real Time Ship Rates stopped working.

For years we have been using Structured Solutions shipping PlugIn. On April the 1st the real time ship rates for all USPS shipping options stopped working and hasn't worked since.
Where we supposed to update an API or re-register or do something with the USPS?
We are in BV 5.8 and have updated to the latest patch mentioned in a prior post a week or so ago.

Could you please explain what you mean by "USPS shipping options stopped working and hasn't worked since."
Do you mean you get incorrect rates, rates show up as empty or the rates simply trow an error?
We use it USPS Direct (No Structured Solutions ) and have no issue with it
We will check it out but give us some more details and we will report our finding too!

USPS rate service v2 was shut off on April 1st. BV Commerce 5.8 and MerchantTribe use the newer v4 services. If the structured solutions plugin is actually retrieving rates instead of our built-in module then that could be the problem.
Another possible problem is that you do no have the correct USPS provider merged into your store. The new provider class should have BVSoftware.BVC5.Shipping.USPS like the old one but also the BVSoftware.Shipping and BVSoftware.Shipping.USPS DLLs too.
I would re-check to confirm you are actually running the 5.8 US Postal Service provider.

We've gotten a raft of calls and emails about this over the past few days. Fun! One client was running a 5.3 store but we were able to just upgrade the USPS portion of the code while keeping everything else in tact. |

We had to use a few of the newer DLLs that were referenced by the new USPS project, yes. We also had to modify the USPS project slightly to work with 5.3; I think it was looking for another class in the Core that was part of the EventLog. |

With Aarons invaluable help we did get upgraded to V5.8 and now the shipping rates are working perfectly.

We use FEDEX and the real time shipping rates stopped coming in for us. Do you guys think this is the same issue? Would upgrading to 5.8 fix it?
