I would like to be able to set the maximum order quantity to 1 for specific products or categories.

Our client is looking for this also, did you ever find out a way to achieve it?

We just had a customer request this as well. Presently the only way to achieve this is via a customization.

We'd like the capability of not just a max but incremental ordering. For example, we have an item where the min order is 6, and we prefer that customers also order in increments of 6.

Max is also important as we would like to limit quantities on really good promotions.

Java,

Just indicate sets of 6 and price accordingly. Better yet, make a modifier put 6, $12.00; 12, $24.00; .... in a button or drop-down list.

Thanks, Mitch.

Your first idea is a good one and easy to implement but could cause sticker shock. $19.95 with a minimum purchase of 6 "looks" better than a 6 count at $119.70. Of course, they eventually see the larger number at checkout, but by that time, they have more or less mentally committed to the purchase.

As to modifiers, this item already has product choices. Can I also have product modifiers for the same item?
