Order is shipped but system won't change status to Shipped

Not sure why yet, but a couple of orders lately get shipped but BV won't change the status to "Shipped". Most recently happened with order shipped via USPS Priority. Any ideas why this is happening?
Using v. 5.8.0.1015

I'll need a little detail before we can troubleshoot something like this. If you can identify any patterns in the orders (e.g. same shipping carrier) that would help. Were you ever able to make the order show as 'shipped'? We will most likely need to look at your database to see what the underlying data looks like. |

Okay, I just emailed you a list of orders with this issue, including the latest one 8844 via USPS Priority.

Tom,
After reviewing this we've determined that this scenario occurs when one or more items in an order do not match a record in the product catalog. Specifically, when the bvc_LineItem.ProductId does not match bvc_Product.bvin. This occurs when a customer places an order and then that product is deleted from the catalog. In the case of your store, it was choice combination products that were not matching up. The SKUs match up but the ProductId/bvin values did not. |

After further review we believe that we have a fix for the shipping status. The only scenario that the fix does handle is if the originally deleted product was set to be non-shipping. Unfortunately since the product was deleted it is not possible to know this. |
