You can see it first discovered here: http://www.bvcommerce.co...Promo-by-Amount-Bug.aspx And later discussed again here: http://www.bvcommerce.co...rror-Creating-Offer.aspx http://www.bvcommerce.co...6525_App-Pool-Crash.aspx In the last post Marcus eludes to a hotfix that was created to address this which was then supposed to be rolled into the 5.8 release. However, I'm fairly certain that the bug still exists in 5.8. We'll add this to our list of bug fixes to address for the 2013 release. Sorry for the inconvenience. We'll get it fixed.

In other words, this is still an unresolved bug.
