Then in the wrapper I would select Product Type > Contains > "True" or "False" Some of my products can ONLY ship FedEx/UPS Ground. Some can't ship USPS but can ship all others. Some can't ship VIA Air.

There's a lot of potential ways to handle this. The first question is how you want to handle a cart/order that contains a mix of these different products. It seems like you have two options: - Only show the shipping method(s) available to every item in the cart (excluding the methods that don't apply to every item in the cart)
- Create generic shipping methods like "Ground" that calculate their rates using the correct underlying method for each product (e.g. FedEx Ground for Product A and UPS Ground for Product B)

Trying to use new shipping rules to make 1st Class Mail work properly, but it keeps offering 1st class for packages outside of the criteria I set. 1st Class is only available for 13 oz and less. This packages is set to 1.1 lbs and it still offers 1st class with the following settings:
Packaging: 0.2 pounds Criteria: Weight is less than weight: 0.6 (also tried fixed: 0.6)
Am I doing something wrong?

Am I doing something wrong? Try this... First you'll need to create a general USPS First-Class Mail shipping method. Then create a new Shipping Cost Rule. Name it USPS First-Class Mail (or whatever you'd like). Suggested Service: US Postal Service > First-Class Mail. Add a new Shipping Cost Rule: When > Items > Weight > is greater than > Fixed Value > .8126 (13 oz.) Assign the following cost Cost = Hide This Method Then... For all remaining packages, Cost = Rate From "USPS First-Class Mail" X1 Technically you'll have two USPS First-Class Mail shipping methods (in the admin). When an item weighs more than 13 oz. it will not be available as a shipping option. Matt Edited by user Friday, October 18, 2013 10:46:57 AM(UTC)

I have also tried hiding this shipping method and it worked perfectly for USPS First Class. So I created the same shipping methods for US Priority Mail (We do not want to ship anything over 5 lbs Priority Mail) however it is still showing up. Please help!

We got this resolved for Jen offline. It was just a setup issue with the rules. |
