Hello,

I am running bv2103 and decided to turn on the loyalty points option a while ago. Today I am importing transactions created since that time into quickbooks and have found out that the loyalty points are ignored. I guess that makes sense since the connector for quickbooks version I have is from before 2013.

Is there an existing solution for this?

Thank you,

Paul

Are you talking about points earned or points spent?

Aaron,

I am asking about the discount given to the customer. Points Spent.

It just occurred to me that I may need a loyalty points payment method in quickbooks. I do not have that right now and the loyalty points are not showing up in quickbooks, making reconciliation a real pain in the ...

Loyalty points are a payment method, not a discount, so that is most likely the issue.

Aaron,

I think I am still missing something.

In the payment options for the connector for quickbooks, I do not see a way to map the website Loyalty Points to a quickbooks payment method.

Thanks,

Paul

Then I guess it's not possible. The QB connector hasn't been supported for a long time so you'll probably need to look at other options like Connex for QuickBooks (link below) which can integrate BVC and QuickBooks. You would need to check with them to see if it has the ability to handle the loyalty points payment method.
