I am getting the error in our Google Merchant Feed. "Item requires a GTIN, resolve by May 16, 2016".
I interpret GTIN as a a UPC code. Right now it is for a list of about 2500 items.
Is anyone else getting this in there feed?
What's the best way to handle it?
I would like to use a field that I can import/export through BV. Although I don't think there is one available

Any suggestions or solutions?

Thanks Matt

Also I should have mentions that Google has a beta in the Google Merchant Center under Feeds - "Feed Rules". So I am thinking that if I add another column to the feed, I can use the feed rules to tell Google where to find the GTIN.

If you create a Type Property with a display name of "UPC" or "GTIN" it will automatically be included in your feed and Google will pick it up. Note that you can set this Type Property to not display on the site so that it will only appear in your Google Shopping feed. However, the import/export does not support Type Properties. So, your other option is to customize the feed.

Version 2015 SP2

I thought about the "Type Property" and it is a logical way. But add them is much more labor in intensive, it has to be the one by one approach. Right now there are 2500 items but that list will grow as time.
I was really hoping for a solution that I get use the import export feature.
Thanks Matt
