Hello,

Is there any way to show limited list of subcategories in top category menu and include one more option of 'view all' at the bottom ?

E.g:

Suppose my main category is ABC

The list contains 20 sub categories under ABC.

I want to show top 10 sub categories and then view all option at the bottom .

Actually I created new customized function from FindChildrenInCollection() in category.vb and used that customized function in CategoryMenuPlus.ascx. But it reflects on other sections too, like left side category panel.
I just want it for top category menu.

Please can anyone help? Thanks in advance for your time.

Yes, if you enable the ShowMoreLink property of the CategoryMenuPlus control. Here's the official explanation:

Displays a 'more' link when there are other categories at a given level that are not hidden but not set to 'Show in Top Menu'; you must use this setting in conjunction with the 'Use Show In Top Menu Settings' setting. The 'more' link goes to the parent category. The default value is false.


Note that you can also change the "more" text by setting the MoreLinkText property.
