I have a kit created with components that have no shipping weight, dimensions, and have the checkbox selected for non-shipping product. However, on test orders where checkout is initiated, I'm still being forced to choose from the list of shipping services available and all of them have pricing. The kit shows a weight range as well, despite the products being used for components listing no weight.
How do I remove any shipping options for this kit?

Currently kits do not support being non-shipping. We may change this in the future. |

Even if the kits currently don't support non-shipping, how does it determine the shipping rate? All of the components in our kit have 0 weight and 0 shipping dimensions.

I anticipate the ability to have kits support non-shipping will be in the next update. In the mean time, I'm trying to create shipping offers and shipping rules that will offer $0 shipping, but nothing is working. Is there a general work around, or does this need to be done as a support ticket?

Not that we're aware of. Perhaps you could create a Shipping Cost rule method to handle this scenario. |

After some experimenting, we ended up being able to make a work-around in the Packaging Rules for each shipping method.
