I know you can do a "buy one get one", but what about a buy one x product get 6 y products... You chould be able to set a quantity for the free products.

on top of that, if i have 20 products that are buy x get y free, i should be able to group all those products in to one offer, not 20 different offers. Very time consuming if you have a whole cateogry that gets a y product for free.

I'm also looking for a way to sell a discounted bundle eg buy 5 items of the same product (which could include different flavours) and get 1 free, but the discount only applies when the bundle is "full" (which would be multiples of 6). In other ecommerce solutions we are testing this is implemented as a 1/6 discount with a min purchase of 6, repeated every 6 items.
Furthermore, we would like to offer 1 free product, such as a t-shirt which automatically gets added if the total order value is greater than some value.

Have you guys looked at my BV Product Package plugin: http://www.acorns.com.au/bv/blog/?p=93It allows you to package multiple products into a single package and give a discount for the complete package. You can also display the complete packages on each of the product's page and have an "Add Package to Cart" button. The plugin will also detect packages if the people add the item individually to the cart. Regards, Corneliu |

hmm i dont think it will work for what i need. but maybe i dont understand it fully. I simply want all my products in a category to get a free product. If i have 20 products in that category, i have to create 20 different offers. I should be able to group these 20 products together in to one offer so they get the free product. I should be also able to have a quantity for that free product.
