I turned the SSL option on and did not have a properlty configured SSL Certificate. As a result, I am now locked out of the admin! Does anyone know how I can fix this and access the admin?

Where did you switch on SSL? Did you do it in BVAdmin/Configuration/Security.aspx where there are options for the Standard Site Root and Secure Site Root?
If thats where you did it, then the only way to rectify is to change the value of the SecureSiteRoot in the database directly. Access your database and execute the following query: select*fromwhere='SiteSecureRoot'
That will get you the current value. If you have https as the url, then you need to change it to http and then update this value in the table again. Then you will be able to login to BVAdmin. Also you might want to recycle your application pool because these settings are typically cached and wont clear till you recycle the web app.
Thanks,

If that's beyond your abilities, call your host on the phone. Trust me... been there. If you're host knows the software, he'll get you fixed up. |
