I'm trying to add an that calls a different banner for the home page and the subsequent pages.
Worked fine until I started creating category pages. (added the new line to category.master - can't seem to get the image path correct)
It seems like the *.master files have different path requirements?
Particularly for category.master. For some reason /Department is appended to the beginning of the path.
Would someone please tell me how paths work in BV Commerce themes? I'd rather use relative urls -- however, it seems like this does not work correctly.
(I'm modifying an included BV Software theme)
Thanks, Jen

/department for categories is just a URL Rewrite. You can easily change that to anything else or totally remove it if you dont want. You can change that behavior in BVAdmin -> Options tab -> Performance section. If you clear up the prefix, it will be gone. |

auto-rewrite URLs works without a prefix? |

Thanks Matt! You are right. Auto rewrite doesnt work without a prefix. You need some prefix for it to work.
So Jen, you can atmost change your prefix but cannot remove it totally. I apologize for writing initially stating that you can remove it alltogether. Thats not the case. Try specifying relative URL's and see if that does the magic for your links. |

Hey satya, I was just checking to see if you were using a higher version as I've been a little behind on some patches!
I've been a stickler for non-auto rewrites for my own reasons. I use the isapi filter like it's going out of style.
I've been slapped on the wrist of few times by Noah @ Resposio....you have how many lines in your file?!?!?!?!? LOL... |

Well, I am using the SP 3.2 with all the patches that have been released. I am kind always up-to-date on the patches myself because customers are always demanding. You know how it works. :-)
Now marching towards SP 4. Testing the RC 1 now. |
