I have a BV 4 cart. We want to give away 3 free samples with every order, but the clients get to choose from a list of about 15 products. We have about 200 products total in the cart. I was going to give them a list on the checkout page and let them copy & paste their choices into the comment box but is there a better way?

There may be a better way. Try creating a single product for your samples. Set the maximum order quantity for this product to 3. Lastly create three customer choices for this product, one for each sample that you want to offer.
Now, how you link to this sample product is entirely up to you. You could add a link to the cart page. Alternately you could add the sample product as a related item or as an accessory product choice to any other product. Hope this helps! |
