Hi All --
Has anyone ever gotten the "Buy X get Y by Category" functionality working? Configuration seems pretty straightforward, but when I purchase an "X category" item, a "Y category" items does not show up in my shopping cart.
Thanks,
Kelly

Kelly, What version of BV are you running? In BV 5.4-5.5, you have to add both the "x" and "y" products to your cart -- the "y" product appears in the cart with a price of $0.00. The "auto" adding of the "y" product was supposed to be added back into BV5.6 (unconfirmed). Wallace Miller -- Narrowpath Design

Hi Wallace --
We're using 5.6. I assumed the "Y" product would be added automatically, but that doesn't seems to be working. I'll try adding the "Y" product manually just to see if it works, but the manual add seems to almost defeat the purpose of the "buy x get y" concept.
Thanks for getting back with me so quickly, BTW.
Regards,
Kelly

As a follow up, we found out how to get this working. We passed the 'mutil' variable in the querystring, as follows: http://www.xxxx.com/stor...rodX1007003;ProdY1011007Thanks for your response, Wallace. It was enough to get us thinking in the right direction. Best regards, Kelly
