I've been webmastering for a few years now, but I've never worked w/BV before. I'm helping a client w/their SEM and their webmaster hasn't installed analytics yet. Further, the webmaster refuses to grant me access to the source code, so the admin back-end is all I have to work with, which the webmaster claims is good enough.
How do I install analytics from the admin back-end? In your reply, please include the locations of stuff. As I said, I am brand new to this system, so I don't know where anything is.
Thanks in advance, Chris

I doubt you can set that up through the Admin interface. I would tell that other webmaster he either has to give you access or he has to take care of it himself, or instruct your client to have their webmaster give you access. |

BV Commerce 5.6 and later include Google Analytics, Google Adwords and Conversion Tracking and Yahoo tracking. All you need to do is go to Options->Analytics in the admin side of BV Commerce and enter your account information.
If you upgraded the store from an earlier version you may need to adjust the master pages of your templates to include a reference to the analytics controls.

Is the Yahoo tracking for Yahoo Search Marketing? I've got my ID in the Analytics setting and the box is checked, but I've never seen any conversion data on my Yahoo Search Marketing Dashboard (even after I've tested by searching and buying myself.)
