I am just thinking about the headaches of managing this manually, since the sales expire without manual intervention it would make sense if the products were removed from such a category without manual intervention (i.e. Dynamic Category)
I looked through the manual and the options (and this forum), and I can't see a way to create a category for "On Sale" that contains all products that currently have a sale running on them. I could create a custom template with the logic hard coded in, but before I do I wanted to find out if there is a way to do this OOTB.
If there is no built-in way, could someone please point me in the right direction as far as what object and properties to use?
FYI - I would also like to create an "On Sale" category broken down by product type. |

I had aram do this from avecom. We created a checkbox in the dynamic category selection to show only the products that are on sale in the marketing tab.
