Hello,
I am trying to investigate how to integrate Google Analytics with BV Commerce, version 1.2. I've researched around but have had no joy.
Can anyone advise how this can be done?

I'm surprised you're still running a store on version 1.2. That's almost 10 years old! Thanks for coming back to the forums. It would take custom programming to add to version 1.2. Have you considered upgrading to a newer version that has Google Analytics built-in?

Thank you so much for your reply - my head's been scratched so much I'm going bald!
It's work for a client, but I will see what the possibilities are for upgrading. I take it there are cost implications?
If upgrading is not possible, is the programming complicated? I have read about adding the GA e-commerce code to the receipt page, but I wasn't even sure how that was to be done correctly.
Sorry - yes, I am an amateur with this stuff! Not with analytics but definitely in this area.

Adding basic tracking to pages is fairly simple. The ecommerce tracking part requires some coding to pull out the order totals and line items for complete analytics. With BV 1.2 you're talking ASP.NET 1.1 which I'm not sure most people even have installed anymore.
