We are using order export 2004.6
When we reached 10,000 orders, the order export will not download orders that have an order number greater than 9,999.
I have purchased a license to bv5, but we are still using BV4. Will upgrading to the latest version of order export solve this issue?
Will it work with BV2004?
Thanks
Dean

Dean,
We're still investigating the issue. It's proving difficult to replicate on our systems.

Marcus:
Monte was playing with it today, because he is getting behind in the downloading of the invoices. It is really weird... if he tells it to start downloading at 10060, it starts downloading at 1006 instead.... it seem to be dropping the last digit. But at times... it will download the correct number for two or three numbers and then revert back to dropping the last digit.
It also does not remember when a order has already been downloaded.
I can give you credentials to download directly from our database if needed.
Monte also want you to know that the old version (2004.x) of order export is still installed on the computer he is using and it still works, but will not work past orders of 10,000.
We are also using QB enterprise version 6.
Thanks

Dean,
That sound really strange. WOuld you be okay emailing your information to us so we can try and download your orders as a test on our machines?

Dean,
We've tracked down the cause of this and are working on a solution. It will work correctly in BV Commerce 5 SP2.

Marcus:
We have not migrated to BV5 yet.... we are still on BV4. I have a working/modified version of BV5(sp1) that has been working for months, but I have been waiting for the release of SP2 before we change our live site over to BV5.
Hopefully, we will be changing to BV5 soon. Unfortunately, bookkeeping will probably light a fire under me to get the conversion done so that they will be able to import orders into QB. My work is never done :(
Thanks for getting on this. Sounds like many others will benefit as well.
Regards Dean

The accounting people are screaming to the top of their lungs. Evidently, the latest version of order import is importing orders and customers into QB that are months old (unintended imports). Evidently, they are not able to delete some of the data from these extra orders out of QB.
How are others dealing with this? Is there a work around?

Dean we are beta testing version 3.10 and I'd be happy to get you included. The "9999" to "10000" issue won't be fixed until Service Pack 2 but that's only a couple of weeks out.

I will talk to Monte that does our bookkeeping... I am sure he will be willing to try anything.
I just assumed that the problems we are having would be common to everyone else, so I was looking for a work around until we get a fix. I know we are a smaller store, so I assume that many others have over 10,000 orders. Possibly, they are using a different method to import their orders??
