Is anybody getting BV Order Export 3.10 to work with BV5?

I am testing Order Export 3.10 on a copy of Quickbooks Pro 2007 and haven't been at all impressed. Most of the Order Export tool is Modal Dialog boxes. No Continue or Cancel buttons so you just have to enter data, tab to the last entry and press the Enter key and hope something happens. It first pops up with the Options screen and I have to go through and select the options. Once I've done that I can't get it to do anything. If I am lucky I scroll around hit enter and then QB asks if I want to let BVC Order Export interact with QB. I say yes. I'm still stuck on the Options Modal Dialog box and I can't get it to close. I can't get to the second Modal Dialog Window that asks about importing data and asks for the server connection. I saw that one once while hitting enter a bunch of times.
After not being able to get the Options Dialog Window to close I finally opened Task Manager and Shut Down the Application. Just then the second Window cam up but then closed as the entire application was being shut down. This is one of the worst Windows programs I've ever seen. If anyone has instructions on how to make it work (I did look at the instructions for the 2.0 version) I'd love to hear about it.

Upgraded to 3.11. Still no luck. I still get modal dialog boxes with no Next or Continue buttons which appear to be part of the 2.0 version. After 40 minutes of trying different combinations of Quickbooks and 3.11 I've given up. As far as the failed Windows application, perhaps that's because I have VS 2005 installed on my machine and 3.11 isn't capable of running properly under that environment. I even tried entering my site's information in the CpnnectorforQuickbooks.exe.config
There is this line in the config file
<OrderExport3.My.MySettings> <setting name="OrderExport3_BVC2004WebServices_WebServices2" serializeAs="String"> <value>http://www.bvsoftware.com/store/BVServices/WebServices2.asmx</value> </setting>
My Event Log says
[Error] 6/18/2007 9:19:29 PM Error <br>Session:<br>To:http://MYDOMAIN/store/BVServices/WebServices2.asmx <br>From:<br>User:24.149.209.81(24.149.209.81)<br>Agent:Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; MS Web Services Client Protocol 2.0.50727.190)
[Error] 6/18/2007 9:19:29 PM
System.Web The file '/store/BVServices/WebServices2.asmx' does not exist.[ at System.Web.UI.Util.CheckVirtualFileExists(VirtualPath virtualPath) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultInternal(VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultWithNoAssert(HttpContext context, VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResult(HttpContext context, VirtualPath virtualPath) at System.Web.UI.WebServiceParser.GetCompiledType(String inputFile, HttpContext context) at System.Web.Services.Protocols.WebServiceHandlerFactory.GetHandler(HttpContext context, String verb, String url, String filePath) at System.Web.HttpApplication.MapHttpHandler(HttpContext context, String requestType, VirtualPath path, String pathTranslated, Boolean useAppConfig) at System.Web.HttpApplication.MapHandlerExecutionStep.System.Web.HttpApplication.IExecutionStep.Execute() at System.Web.HttpApplication.ExecuteStep(IExecutionStep step, Boolean& completedSynchronously) ]
So it looks like the config is wired up to look for a file at the BV site which doesn't exist and there is no BVServices folder as part of the BV5 install. There are webservices3.asmx and webservices4.asmx files in the root of my BV5 install. Presumably one of these is the file that the Order Export should to trying to talk to.
I believe all of this should be added to the bug list for Order Export 3.1.1

Rick,
Make sure you've configured the options page to use "BV Commerce 5" and not "BV Commerce 2004."

Marcus, I have done that. Like I said, the windows are totally modal with no Next or Continue buttons at the bottom as shown in the 2.0 version documentation. It's not possible to use the product in this format. 3.11 is behaving in exactly the same way. Should it have buttons? If so there is a serious flaw in the Windows program at least running on my machine. As it is it is a totally unusable program. Please post a screen shot of what it is supposed to look like.

I have purchased this connector but I haven't even tried to use it yet. Maybe I should.

Bob, take a look at see what you get. I was trying to test it with a Backup version of my Quickbooks file to make sure that it works before I turn my store on. You can see in these screenshots that there are no buttons on the modal windows. I've submitted a Support Ticket but no one has responded yet. Outdoor Ed attached the following image(s): Order Export 0.jpg (89kb) downloaded 252 time(s).You cannot view/download attachments. Try to login or register.

OutdoorEd,
Okay, I see the problem now! The forms were designed with a fixed pixel size and it looks like you have your Windows configured to use larger fonts and/or larger dpi. It looks like our forms aren't dynamically expanding in this situation.
We'll look into this and get a patch out so that you can see the whole form. In the meantime a work around would be to configure Windows to use normal size fonts and 96dpi screen resolution which will show the whole form as we normally develop.

Marcus, thanks for replying. I can close out the Support Ticket that was not responded to. I have a 22 inch widescreen display that I am running at 1680 x 1050 with fonts at 130 DPI. Since every other Windows program I have runs fine with these settings it never occurred to me that it might be a display problem.
Things seemed to work fine once I changed to 96 DPI. I imported 18 records into my Quickbooks file. I did get an error dialog box at the end of the import.
ERROR System.Collection.specials.StringCalled

Has anybody got this thing to work yet? Using export connector 3.1.1. w/bvc2004. The export worked the first time and then nothing. That's the same thing that happened with the last version. Nothing.
