**Please help*** will BVC OrderExport also export customer choices/inputs/modifiers?

will BVC OrderExport also export customer choices/inputs/modifiers?
I know BV2004 did but it seems now that BVC5 does not.....am I missing something?

All of the export -> match to quickbooks items is based on SKU number in BV and Item Number in QuickBooks. You have to use "Choices" not "Modifiers" in BV5 to be able to set a distinct SKU for each item. Is that what you mean?

Hi Marcus,
No, what I am referring to is that when an order is exported and brought into QB as a sales receipt it records the items info (product name) but does not record any of the choices/inputs or modifiers that the customer selected....whereas BV2004 did.

I'd have to look into the code of the export tool to see where things are different between the BV2004 and BV5 export functionality. Do you need a copy of the source code to check this out yourself?

Hi Marcus,
Is there any update on this? What is the most current version of Connector? I am running 3.12.0.0
As it stands now the Connector is no good to me as most of my products have choices and or modifiers and the connector does not export this info to quickbooks so you get the main item into QB but not the specifics....

Derek, There is a 3.23 or 3.25 version available from your account at https://accounts.bvcommerce.com which updates several things. Not sure about the variants but I think it addresses the issue.

Hi Marcus, Just downloaded Connector from "MyAccount" and unzipped. There are 2 .exe, one called "Setup" and the other "OrderExport3". When I run either of them I get this message which appears it wants to repair a 3.13 installation instead of installing the never version dcs68 attached the following image(s):  6-9-2009 11-28-45 AM.jpg (44kb) downloaded 157 time(s).You cannot view/download attachments.
