How to Add Google Analytics and eCommerce Tracking to BV Commerce 5

I realize this is an old post, but still seems to be the most recent on the subject...
Firstly, I have tried over the past months on two different sites to use the Analytics configuration in the BVAdmin, but it doesn't seem to work. I just tried it on a site using BV Commerce 5.4 rev 5 and when I checked the Google Analytics box, pasted my client's Google id and hit "Save Settings," the tracking code was NOT added to the pages at all. The last time I tried it, I think some tracking code was added, but it was not the recommended code (that was on BV Commerce Toolkit 5.6).
Anyway... any updates on the Google Analytics set up via the admin?
Second, in the meantime, I have used Brian's instructions posted on 3/23/2008 with success EXCEPT when I implemented it today, I do NOT see the "pageTracker._addTrans." code from step 14 on the new receipt page. Any thoughts?

Sounds like the Master Pages are missing the Google Analytics control. You should update to the latest version, too. |
