Has anyone created an alternative layout to either the BVC 2004 or Bvc5 version? Principally the Bvc5 views better but the fact the side menu dissapears can be a tad annoying from a navigation perspective. I would be glad to hear from anyone with an alternative that still displays the side menu but shunts the cross sells below the product and doesnt jostle it in between the long description and side menu

Hey Russel. Adding the left menu to the BV 5 product template is extremely easy. I am not sure if this helps or not, but the following link shows how to add a left column to the custom pages: Simply follow these same steps: http://forums.bvcommerce...42686&g=43042#m43042 I would also recommend creating a new product template for this. That way future patches will not overwrite your changes. If you need help creating a new product template, please let me know. |

Thanks Nick - thats bang on and along the lines of what I have had to do for other custom pages I have added. Just got to love the content columns!
