Sending a recover abandoned cart email

Any ideas or current customizations that implement an email sent to the customer with a recover your shopping cart link. We do have an admin cart view, but how to send a recovery link for the customer? example: We have saved your shopping cart for the next 7 days. It's doable without too much trouble. The biggest problem I see, and it's inherent with the idea, is that you need a customer's email address, which means that they need to have created an account. If your site is one where people create accounts before purchasing, then it's probably perfect. Otherwise it may only benefit your repeat customers (not that this is a reason to discount it, of course). |
