Has anyone integrated echeck.net with the authorize.net payment processor? We are looking in to allowing customer's to send echecks through our wesbite as a payment.

Bump. We are very interested in getting a payment processor for accepting electronic checks.

I've seen "offline" solutions where the customer can click a link and go to a 3rd party website (branded with your logo ofcourse) and send us money (like a donate button), but id love to see everything integrate with the cart.

Is anyone concerned about high volume of fraud attempts using e-checks? I don't have that much experience, but I would think that AVS etc would not work on e-checks. If I had someone's check in my hand, I could use the information on the check to complete a purchase. What verification exists on e-checks?

I was just going over this with customer service. From what I understand, AVS is not available on eCheck.Net as it is not real time and is not validated against a database. It has the same rules as a normal check, except it is electronic. I guess there would have to be some human interaction with the bank to verfiy that the echeck customer is truely who they say they are.
