As I begin to work on the contact us page I would like to add a form that will submit to one of our email accounts... What is the best way to do this in BV5? Should i just create the form on a tool like dreamweaver then create a new section under the Edit Policy - Contact Us Page section and paste the code in the text box??? Or do it on the aspx page?

There is already a built in form builder for the Contact us page in BVC 5.

Go to BV Admin > People > Contact Us Config to set up your custom contact form. |

Ok, thanks... I was looking under the content menu... Now that I have the form do I have any control on the order the fields show up in??? I created them in the order i wanted (First Name, Last Name, Phone, Email, etc.) but they don't show in that order... See attachment. Also, is there any way to do validation like on the email field to make sure they put in a valid email address? I talked to Nick at BV. This is a bug and the order of the form fields can't be changed. They'll address this soon. |
