Hi! I'm currently editing the Print Book Theme for our company's website. I need to know what file I should edit to have images show on the homepage. I've tried making a custom page for the homepage but it only shows text. If someone could give me a lead it would be greatly appreciated the url to my company's site is www.accesspanelpro.com. Thanks !

You'll need to open Home.master in that particular theme and enable the content section so that it will use the content columns in default.aspx. |

after that is done what steps would I take to get the images to show on the homepage. Would I have to edit the Default.apsx file or Default.master? As you can guess I'm not an asp.net expert.

Depends on exactly what you're doing, but most use the content columns. Look under the Content tab in the admin for the front page content columns. |

What do you mean by getting images to display, something like this? http://www.promomanagers.com |

How far have you gotten? Why did you do what you've done with * .master? Loaded images to the proper directory via FTP? Created a content block? Written a short HTML to load the image (or used the flash image rotator)? What's not working for you. Content blocks (just about everything goes into a content block on the home page). Have you seen the videos at: http://www.bvsoftware.com/bvcommerce5manual/ |

In reply to www.promomanagers.com, yes, that's kindof the idea. In reply to MitchA I've upload the pictures via FTP. Did create a custom but deleted it because I could only format html. I'll make a content block and see how that goes. And those videos do not play.

Jthom, Also, check out the BV4 manual. It's got a few things in there that BV5's doesn't, and the controls are the same or similar enough to get you pointed in the right direction. http://www.bvsoftware.com/bvc2004/manual/You should work on getting the videos to work. They are very helpful. It's got to be something on your end of the pipe. I just tried BV4 and BV5 videos in IE6 and FF, they should play for you. |

Check your browser's security settings. Try ratcheting down a notch or two. Other than that, make sure you have the latest version of all of the media players. This is a problem on your end. |

Okay, I think I have an alright grasp of manipulating the content blocks but now the problem is getting the changes to show in the store view. I can see the changes on the admin side but not the store's homepage. I'm wondering what am I forgetting to do or activate?
