I am including a screen shot, I want to move the Browse categories on the home page to where it says browse categories below it. It is pushing the HTML body down, I have tried putting in homepage column one, I have tried to change the widths in css, nothing works. emunah attached the following image(s): screenshot.JPG (106kb) downloaded 115 time(s).You cannot view/download attachments. OK, I guess we're working in this thread from now on. Let's keep it here for this particular issue.
So you're referring to your column category menu (a sitemap is for the entire site, including non-catalog pages).
What theme are you working from? Are you working in Home.master in that theme with your markup? |

Sorry, I don't follow. Did you start with one of the stock themes? What was that theme's name?
Is the name of the masterpage you're working with default.master? |

I am using default master, I figured out how to do it I pasted the code that bv generated into homepage column two below the main logo and deleted the category browser created by bv. Now my problem is this. I have twoo css files that I created, the default page is reading the main.css fine. The category page is reading a file called styles.css created by bv. I took that out of default master and I put my itemdetail.css in default master but the category page is still reading that css file when I view the code from the browser. It is pointing to default master in themes, I do not understand why this is happening.

Does your theme contain a category.master file? |

Sorry I meant that the category aspx is getting info from category master which has the two style sheets in it. It also has a category.css file that when I remove makes no difference

What was the original name of the theme you're using so I can follow along? |

<!--<link href="Category.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />--> <metaname="Keywords"id="MetaKeywords"runat="server"/></P><metaname="Description"id="MetaDescription"runat="server"/></P><linkhref="main.css"type="text/css"rel="stylesheet"/></P><linkhref="cat_itemdetail.css"rel="stylesheet"type="text/css"/></P>
Is there a way to edit the bulk category template?

Is there a way to edit the bulk category template?Yes, look in your BVModules folder for the folder containing category modules. Sounds like you should probably stop and take some time to look around and grasp how themes work and module interact. Have you looked at any of the theme help, starting with maybe http://www.bvsoftware.com/BVCom...s/CreateAThemePart1.aspx? |

Yes, But the fact of the matter is the category page is not reading the css file.

Again, what theme are you working from so I can follow along? Or, even better, can post what you have of your theme so far? |

I am working with theme BVC5. When I go to my category page it says it is pointing to http://localhost/bvc5/BVModules/CategoryTemplates/Bulk%20Order%20List/Category.aspx?categoryid=078e95f9-36a3-4544-9f17-5f5ab7362e3aSo it is using category aspx but when I look at category aspx it says this @PageLanguage="VB"AutoEventWireup="false"CodeFile="Category.aspx.vb"Inherits="category"[2] %></P>[/2] The category master file has the css files in it. I am attaching my code for this page in a text doc Thanks for all of your help File Attachment(s): forum post code.txt (94kb) downloaded 290 time(s).You cannot view/download attachments. Cliff, I am sorry to bother you again, I posted something in technical about customizing search function. If you have the time I would appreciate your input. By the way I finally figured out what is wrong with the css. The category aspx file is in the bulk category template folder, I was looking at another category aspx file. I took the names from that file and placed them in my css and am now playing around with it. I appreciate all of your time
