The forums were pulled down for the past few days. It was my impression from recent activity that they were not serving our customers very well. However, during the past couple of days I've heard from many customers and developer partners who disagreed with my decision and felt the forums were very valuable and useful.

I believe that there is a better format (something more like StackOverflow's questions and answers) that may serve the BV community well in the future. However, based on the feedback I received it was a mistake to turn off the current forums without a replacement. I apologize to forum members who were left without the boards and without answers for a few days.

Spam and non-contributing posts have become more prevalent and take more time to moderate now. As a result I will be recommending that we add a few active members of the forums as moderators to help keep things on track.
