Is there a way to refund a puchase within BV, so that the payment gateway updated (and the customer is effectively refunded his/her money)?

Yes, just click the "refund" button next to a charged card. Some gateways do batch processing and you'll only be able to "void" orders before the batch is processed and "refund" orders after the batch is processed.

When I try to refund the cc that was used for payment it gives me an error because the CC info needs to be entered again. Shouldn't it be saving the info? How am I supposed to get the cust cc info again to apply the refund?
