We offer Free shipping on most products over $150. I set that up in marketing so that when the order exceeds $150, the custoemr gets UPS Ground Shipping for free. Works great... BUT... what about the items that are overwieght or require an additional shipping charge. When I go to edit the order in the order manager, i can put it an additional shipping charge, but then the order states that the customer overpaid! How can I take out the shipping discount in the order manager and enter in the shipping charge?

looks like my customer service was not following the correct process for adding an additional shipping charge to an already discounted shipping charge. They were adding the shipping charge after the card was manually processed...

Could you explain a little more about how you figured this out?
